Apple notified users in 110 countries in the August 13, 2026 wave, and more than 150 countries since the program began in 2021.
The alert now appears on the Lock Screen and in Settings, not only by email and on the Apple Account page.
A genuine notification is always visible after you sign in at account.apple.com yourself, and Apple never asks you to click a link, install an app, or hand over a code.
