Node.js 20 was deprecated on Google Cloud on April 30, 2026, and is decommissioned on October 30, 2026.
After October 30 you cannot create or redeploy on the Node.js 20 runtime, and existing workloads "may be disabled."
Move to Node.js 24 rather than 22. Google's decommission date for Node.js 22 is October 31, 2027, but Node.js 24 runs until October 31, 2028.
