Claude's OpenTelemetry export is in public beta, and the default metadata-only mode sent 18 span attributes and no prompt text in our test.
Full content mode added three attributes holding the system prompt, user message and reply, including an email address we planted in the question.
Spans over the 0.75 MB default limit are truncated, and delivery is best effort, so use the Usage API rather than traces for billing.
